Maxxis st tires
Are the maxis st tires any better than the rest. I have 230/80/16 tires now and I don't think I can go to the 235/85/16 due to clearance I have blown power King and marathons I am trying to find a goo...

I believe Jim was pretty accurate in his statement.
I had Maxxis LRD when my fiver was delivered and they lasted ~18 months before the sidewalls started cracking.
Put Maxxis LRE on the trailer for ~26 months before I had a sidewall separation. Changed out the tire and headed back to town to replace my spare. TPMS alerted me to another low pressure issue on a different tire. Was lucky to make it back to town. The remaining two tires were failing as well.
All this on my previous 10K lb 5er.
One down, 29 to go :)
