The load G all steel ply or poly carcass tires are designated as commercial class ST tires and have little in common with a ST C/D/E poly carcass tire that has been so problematic in the past.
As others have mentioned some of the ST C/D/E are now speed rated above 65 mpg which may or may not determine better reliability or increased miles of service that can match a LT or the ST G commercial class tires.
Lets all hope they will.
I figure if I have an ST tire that's got an M or N speed rating, and I only drive 65, or less, that tire =should= last longer. What I'm hoping with my Carlisles, anyway. :-)
