We have been to Memphis numerous times and really enjoy the city. In the month of May they have a different festival every week. My personal favorite is the BBQ cookoff, its a lot of fun just walking around and watching all the cooks and their unique cookers. They also have dog racing if you are into that sort of thing. We have been through Nashville but never spent anytime there so I can't comment but....Memphis for me! I forget to add Mud island which has the Worlds largest Bass Pro shop in the glass pyramid.
