Micro Vent
I gotta' install a exterior vent for my GE microwave/convection oven,i already bought everthing I was just wondering if anyone else out there install one and how it went? Thanks in advance.

I did it on our first fiver. It was super easy! I used a Dremel to make the cut in the exterior fiberglass. and a key hole saw on the inside. My biggest concern would be a stud being right where the vent needs to go. Use a stud finder to determine that. If there is no stud, it should be smooth sailing. I used foam weather stripping between the oven and the interior wall to help make a tighter seal. Don't forget to caulk the exterior vent. Good luck, Phillip
