All the newer rigs have 30 "wide openings I'm looking to fit one in a 24 "wide opening. the range/ can be convection as well as microwave. Anybody else have this problem?. I don't want to cut the ex...

Have you looked at your old one? Replacing with a 24" counter top unit is likely the perfect replacement.
