The Missouri Trout opener is March 1st. Just for the heck of it I checked and there was only 1 open campsite. They have 3 campgrounds in the park with over 300 sites! I would love to attend an opener ...

Pictures of opening day show up in the papers every once in a while. Elbow to elbow. I fail to see the attraction. That's a very nice area, but I can stay in town to fight the crowds. :)
