- dblrExplorerBoth very nice units with Lux being the higher cost, we looked at both when searching for our current unit, DRV was always the wife's dream unit but as things changed there she started to not like them as much. When we looked at Lux they were still in Bristol and not part of the RV Factory line up, we liked what we saw but were just a bit nervous of the factory direct thing all be it they were very nice, ended up with the then new River Stone Legacy and have been very happy with our decision for 4 years now. Good luck on your choice.
- Cummins12V98Explorer IIITook the tour of LUXE in 2016 when at DRV for one year warranty repairs. Too "stark" "sanitary" interior designs for us. While at the Elkhard Campground a LUXE owner was near us and he had nothing but bad to say about his unit.
They did a nice job on their fit and finish. The running gear was NOT MORryde IS as it should have been for that money.
DRV has it's issues as all RV's do. Overall with owning two DRV's since 2011 we like them. - memtbExplorerYears ago the BMW was very spartan cosmetically but very quality.....I’d take that over a Cadillac of the same vintage any day! For the right price....you can have both! memtb
