Jayco will undoubtedly tell you it's no problem but they really aren't the ones doing the work. RV industry is different than auto industry. Dealers get shafted on warranty work and have no motivation to help you out unless you bought from them and they want to keep you happy. Tons of stories on these boards of people getting put "at the back of the line" when trying to get work done at a dealer other than where they purchased. Especially during busy times of year. I'm not saying I wouldn't buy from out of my area but just realize getting work done locally could be tough, regardless of what Jayco says.
