Mods for a new FW
The FW I'm considering has a standard, solid, pin box and no shocks. If you could only choose 1, which would it be; shocks or pin box? Assuming I can get 12v power to the front vent, which fan do ...

One of best mods I did on our RV was to move the vent fan with push button on/off from bedroom to the kitchen overhead vent, then bought a fan with remote and installed in bedroom. Now with remote, a push of a button I can shut off the fan from bed (ie without someone having to get up out of bed and push the shut off the fan). Then I removed the kitchen overhead vent, fish around with a flashlight and coat hanger and found overhead light wire, and tapped into it.
Didn't realize this mod would turn out so good, until laying in bed almost in la la land, and just before going to sleep I can shut off the fan above bed with a push of a button. No more getting poked in side, just before going to sleep and hearing "Honey, turn off the fan". And fan in kitchen (low, med, high speeds) really gets the heat out fast. On hot days with door open and fan going it makes a nice draft of air. And a side benefit now when toasting bread or cooking, very seldom does smoke alarm go off.
