Monroe Part no. for a shock absorber, 8K Dexter

I did a little research on trailer shocks. The way the shocks are mounted way off vertical, I doubt the shock is doing anything worth while. I'm going to leave the shock off and see if anything changes.

Depends on the length that you need, 555001 or the longer 555025.

Thanks. All I need is the shock. I had to cut it off because the lower nut was frozen tight. The upper bracket is still attached to the shock. All I need is a new shock and someone to weld the upper bracket back onto the frame. Sure wish I had a welder. Thanks for the part number. I'll order one from O'Reilles tomorrow.
