Several of you have mentioned concern re the hitch weight. I have a 2013 Duramax 2500 HD. The listed hitch weight for the 3150Rl is 2410 and the cardinal is listed at 2550. That is below my trucks rated weight so I feel that is not an issue. My hitch is a pullrite 16000 lb slider so the overall weight is within limits. I intentionally shop for a unit that is within my weights limits and also not to long.
arcamper, your trailer sure looks great. The Montana I am looking at is a NEW 2014 3150RL so I can't pick any additional options. Main concern at this time is the quality and the price.

Those are 'dry' here pin weights............nothing like what the real wet pin weight will be when trailer is loaded up ready to go camping. Both of those pin weights will go up closer to 3000#.
Just saying...again don't know what your 2500 actual payload is.
