Montana, Big Country, or Grand Design?
Good evening! We've been full-timing in a 2008 Montana 3200RL for the last 4 years and are looking to buy a new 5er. We think we have settled on a new floor plan that's available from all 3 brands...

Gsport, As a owner of 4 5er's and I have a friend with a GD Solitude and I like them BUT I think you have not looked at many RV's or do not know alot about 5er's There are PLENTY of brands that are as good as Grand Designs Solitude including Heartland Big Country/ Big Horn And Montana's and Jayco Pinnacle's,Palimino Columbus, FR Cardnial's and Many more in that price range, he is doing the right thing and looking at all of them and pick the one that fit's his needs,,and find a good Dealer to buy from and do a thorough PDI and call it good..,I own a Montana Legacy and love it But there are plenty of 5er's that are built just as good as my Montana but it just had more Standard Goodies,(central vac, Mor-ryde pin box, Mor-ryde 4100 Suspension, 4 step Aluminum entry,Quality electronics etc.etc... for the price than other brands and that is why Montana sells so many more than anybody else thru the Years IMO And yes with the slides closed we can reach the bathroom and one side of the fridge
