Montana High Country 310RE

We are living in a Montana High Country 310RE. We've been having problems with the dinette slide leaking, pretty bad actually. Some how the rain is causing water to come up through the floor and soaking the carpet. We know we need to get it back to the dealer, it's finding the right time and of course other living arrangements. Wondering if someone else has had the same issue's. Thanks
  • Get yourself a ladder and check the slideout roofing where it meets the outside wall of the slideout. This area is often the source of leaks. It may need to be recaulked.
  • You might also check the slide-out seals and verify that they "popped" out toward the outside edge of the room. That made a difference on our last trailer.
  • We had a similar problem in our Chaparral. Found out is was coming in from 2 places.
Some from a window not being sealed properly. The main was was the flashing on the facia. They never caulked it. The water was running down the inside of the wall and wicking through the carpet. Once it was caulked and Window sealed all stopped.

    Good luck.
  • Yes we realize we need to get the leak repaired as soon as possible, I was hoping to hear from other 310RE owners, and if they have similar issues
  • I'd move smartly on this issue. Even a little water for a short time can cause big issues.
  • it could possibly be a window seal leak and it is running down the inside of the wall to the floor
