The nice part is that when boondocking you can run it from 12 volt with the water heater on propane! There is a higher capacity model 200 for the Aqua-Hot.

be careful not to pinch off too many supply grilles, there's not that much static pressure in these little fans and if you restrict the airflow too much the furnace will cycle on/off on its high limit without ever reaching temperature.

If you increase the flow into the garage area in any way, be sure to increase the return by at least the same amount. That air has to go somewhere. Ever try blowing into a coke bottle?

In fact, make sure you have enough return as it is now...

We do this and does help. The vents by the blower get most of the air flow. If you close off the bathroom, and the vent in the storage area and restrict the one in the master bedroom, it will help push the air to the back. Still no great. A kicker fan that ran inline with the venting to back I think would work a lot better.

KJK66 I was at Dove and it was cold. Nothing out of ordinary though. I had my set to 66 and it was on most of the night. Mine has a 4" register but the inlet to the register is 2" at most. I wish my heater was under the fridge but its not or I would do that mod you suggested. My heater is under stairs to bedroom. Pretty far away. Batteries started at 12.6v and in morning they were 12.3v which is actually pretty good for the amount the thing was on. I just have to get under the belly pan and see if I can add or tee off main and add another pipe to rear. You can for sure feel temp diffence from main room to garage. This where our dinette is so I want it toasty myself eating dinner. Off topic man we need some rain. Thanks for ideas everyone.

I was out at jawbone canyon for thanksgiving and had a 12 year old a 7 year old and twin 1 year olds and had the thermostat at 68 all night and heard no complaints

I have the same exact trailer but my garage has a 4" register in the garage and with the thermostat set, the garage is as warm as the rest of the trailer

I would try blocking off more of the flow to forward registers. Eventually you will find the right balance between front and rear. As you reduce flow to the front, you should get better flow to the rear plus the thermostat will stay cooler so the heater will run longer before reaching cutoff temperature.

With dual batteries, you should be able to run a couple of days of heat without issue. If you need to top off the batteries with the generator for a few hours, make sure your charger is upgraded to one that has real charging modes verses some of the cheap chargers that are OEM in the RV's. Since you camp in the desert, solar would be a good option to keep your batteries charged during the day so they can be tapped at night. Others will give you advice on scaling the panels for the battery capacity you are trying to keep charged.
