The best preventative medicine is to do frequent checks, as pointed out by several posters. It is my opinion people are naïve to think that just because they buy and install an "up grade", such as the MOR/ryde suspension systems, inspection and maintenance are a thing of the past.
While the suspension is better than what most manufactures install as OEM on trailers, the new system still has to absorb the deplorable road conditions we travel over. The system should reduce the amount of shock and vibration being sent through the trailer frame, extending the life of the trailer. It does not mean over time the parts won't fail. Maybe one good thing about installing the wet bolt kit as well as the improved equalizer, you do have to crawl under the trailer to grease the bolts. This allows for a visual inspection of all of the components and should be done several times a year.
I have the SRE4000 suspension on my unit and I grease the bolts three times a year. Once in the spring, mid July, and then at winterizing. Still, I do visually inspect the suspension system more frequently than that.
