After looking at several RV shows and online at a number of different 5th Wheel models / floor plans, we found one that appeared to work for us, then we got the price negotiating done (in writing) before we set foot in the dealer (if price was not right, no point in going to the dealer) then we went to the dealer and told the salesman we needed it powered up with all systems connected and they needed to leave us alone for a 2 or 3 hours while we "Played House" to ensure it was right for us.
Like the previous post said, sit on the toilet, stand in the shower, lay on the bed, work the kitchen and pretend you are using it, sit in the chairs and turn on the TV, play house !!!
We also opened and closed every door and cabinet a number of times before moving forward.
