Motorcycle on 5ver.
Anybody tried carrying an 800 lb motorcycle on the back of their 5ver? How did it work? I am wanting to build a hydraulic lift for mine

Hopefully I have an image of a swivel trailer, if money was no object I would try one of these out;

My situation is very similar to yours in that there are only specific times I want to carry the bike and I prefer my floor plan over those of the toy haulers I've seen.
I feel fairly confident that if I added a third axle with disc brakes the lift would work very well.

Here's my Hydralift setup that was installed by the factory when the trailer was built. Lots more examples out there with a search.
Thanks for posting the picture. I'm guessing my trailer might be similar to yours in length. How heavy is the motorcycle you carry? How far from the centre of the rear axle to the rear of your trailer? If you're happy with it with only two axles maybe I could get by without adding a third axle.
My trailer is a 34' model that is actually around 36'. My bikes are all 550lb or less but the lift is rated for more.
The lift is a good solution for me because I only carry motorcycles 5-10 times a year these days and usually for long distances. I would not recommend a hydralift for weekly use (on a trailer) over a toy hauler. It's all a compromise and I opted for a better floor plan over the superior hauling capacity of a toy hauler. If I had to have a bike back there all the time, it might be a different story.
