so my axle weight went up by 11,900 - 11,200 = 700 lbs by adding 500 lbs to the rear of the 5th wheel.
The amount the axle weight will change is the sum of (1) the actual weight added to the 5th wheel plus (2) any reduction in pin weight. The reduction in pin weight can't just disappear into thin air - it's transferred to the axles.
