I've had both a short bed (6.5 ft 2500) and a long bed (8 ft 3500 SRW). Seems to be a much better ride with the LB, and have never gotten close to putting the nose through the cab window with our Pullrite Super fifth. Only 'complaint' I have is that the 3500 is too long to fit in our garage. It's a fair trade off, though, considering the additional bed space, turning radius, and improved ride.
