Moving in the rain
OK old timers... any tips for moving a 5'ver in the rain? I'm in NW Florida, going to be be moving the RV about 100 miles with forecast of heavy rain the thunderstorms. Yeah... I know... sit & wait...

I try to put as many items as possible away before the rain. We too are moving to a new site on Monday (Jan 23) We already know that we will be in for storms here in Florida for most of the weekend.
Before the rain and while it's dry I bring in my awning, stow the BBQ and all our solar lights.
What most people forget to do while driving in the rain is to slow down. It never ceases to amaze me how even when the speed limit is 75 MPH try to do 90 in the rain. Really? what's the hurry? Slow down and live. Can't even remember how many RV's I have seen off the road and I can likely guarantee that speed and driver error was the cause.
