Your taking cold air from your interior into the condenser side and exhausting it out the hot air exhaust. This cold air that you take out from inside your RV must be replaced. It pulls in air from various air leaks in your RV outside air that is not cooled to replace it. By having a two hose unit you pull into the unit outside air into the condenser and exhaust it out the hot air exhaust. This prevents pulling the already cooled air from your RV.
