The Nephi store may be a franchise, and doesn't always have to follow the directives of the parent company. Or so it seems...although that seems very weird.
It would not surprise me to have to return the Utah store to get this taken care of. That I can do in October.
Yeah ..... I believe it was CapriRacer who asked DT why one store policy was different than other store policy on replacement issues. DT says they leave it up to the DT store owner as to the stores policy.
This is where a real tire store with experienced store mgr's can help folks separate internet tire replacement myth like we see on RV.net vs actual legal issues regarding replacement.
My neighbor got into the retail tire sales with a tire store in a small town. His only experience with tires was he owned a roll back truck for 8-9 years before his age forced him into a different business. He knew nothing about a ST tire vs a P tire vs a LT tire. Sound familiar.
