Why the G614 LT tire diameter has a different diameter than other same size LT tires can only be answered by Goodyear.
We just go by specs offered from the mfg....and actual experiences with them by dozens of other members.
Interesting....I just assumed I could replace with the same size...I better pay closer attention.
I currently only have 2 1/4" between each of the three tires now so I can't afford to start going taller (and I suspect they were even closer when new)
