Need Help with Weekend warrior weights

Our first WW was an FB 22 and we hauled it one time with our 2004 Tahoe. It was a miserable experience. Bought a new truck the day after we got home.

Try it but I think you will find you need more than a Tahoe.

All we are hauling are two banshees and some camping equipment.

You should be okay, especially with a weight distribution hitch. What exactly are you going to put in it, that will dictate your total weight.

Weekend Warrior's superlites had a GVWR of #9000 so I would think that you will be in that ballpark. Weekend Warriors are notorious for being heavy. I got rid of our FSC3200 for that reason. Its actual weight was much more than the advertised dry weight... always closer to #11,000, than the #7800 listed weight. I'm thinking you will want the Tundra at least.

The ONLY way to know your weights for sure is to take it to a truck scale and weigh it and your tow vehicle. Have everything/everyone loaded up as if you were leaving for a 2 week trip. Once you weight everything at once on the scale you'll then have enough weight info to determine if you need more truck or not.

Inside a kitchen cabinet should be a label that gives approximate dry weight and the GVWR.

On the right front corner outside should be a label that gives tire info and GVWR.

The GVWR is the maximum the trailer can weigh fully loaded.

What are the tow ratings of the Tahoe? It appears the Tahoe is rated to tow 6,500. Of course that was when it was new.

Be aware that WW lied about the empty weights. Plan on it being heavier than the label.
