Went out this morning to do battle with the snake opened the bay door and it was right there. Dropped door and ran off screaming like a little girl. Sat and had pot of coffee and went back out.
Had one of those long arms used to pick up trash and a bucket with a lid (all this was advice from neighbor) moved stuff around and grabbed snake with litter picker. Now I had a mad snake and tried getting it in bucket snake did not want to be in bucket. Hollered at wife to bring ice chest, she brought it out but set it down about 10 feet away and told me I was on my own. Got snake in ice chest. Drove snake out in desert (fish & game suggested 15 miles so it would not come back) dumped ice chest with snake out drove off. Went back about hour later to get ice chest(did not want to litter) snake was gone.
Went home sat and had beer (10am).
Anybody want an ice chest?
You are a better man than me. If a rattlesnake is in my camper I no longer have a camper. The snake does. When he decides he does't need it anymore I will gladly take it back. Bears get the same respect.
