Are you sure you want a 5th?
LOL! Yes. The reason is . . . we feel that we can go do more inside cities in a truck than driving any kind of Motorhome. I know we could tow something but then you have two motors, etc to break down. Plus . . . if our home is in the shop, we are in a hotel. If the truck needs to be in the shop, we at least still have our home.
My mom and dad travel a lot and have told us to look for COE places. We don't mind dry camping some. We'll be ready for everything . . . we hope. LOL
Ok, I'm just challenging your thought process. That logic is true, but these days trucks and their chassis are fairly dependable.
We just came from Smokey Mt Nat Park. We stayed outside the park. As much as I wanted to, we couldn't stay in the park. There are maybe 5 sites in each campground that we might fit. There are no hook ups. I could do it earlier in the year before the weather requires AC.
Be careful with the big city (Houston) dealers. Never believe the salesman! Lol
Plan on $100,000+. Truck will be about $60,000. 5th???
Just me, I wouldn't pay for the on board generator. Two Honda EU2000 are more versatile.
Good luck!
Edit add: look at Northwoods RV. Smaller production rates, supposedly fewer build issues. Maybe Princesscraft rv dealer in Round Rock. We bought two Keystone 5ths from Holiday World. Won't again.
