I would think the ST235/80R16 LRE would be fine on an RV with 6k axles. This would meet the selection guidelines used by most car companies
The only real solution is to refuse the ST tire on new rigs, snip Maybe then the RV companies will get a clue that they better put some credibility and reliability into the snip RVs they sell.
RV owners should not have to change tires as soon as they buy the unit. Competent selection on the part of the RV MFG for load & speed capacity. To my knowledge most RV Mfg buy from large distributors and importers because of low cost not directly from tire manufacturers as does "Detroit"
