So, what is your opinion on the Carlisle Trail RT 225/75-R15 E tire?
Do you know any of the variables or the noise strategy used on their DFSS project? Carlisle has advertised quite a lot of information about the DFSS project. I don’t think that it would very hard to guess what type of testing was performed to test the different designs.

I have no personal experience with the "Trail RT". I find no information on this page.
RE "Noise strategy" of the Six Sigma project. I understand 6 Sigma but could find no links to details on the project. Is the goal to reduce tire noise? If not could you provide links?
The noise strategy in six sigma projects refers to the signal to noise measurement. The testing of the key features of the tire recipe would be tested using an orthogonal array. The results of the signal to noise ratio would allow you amplify the gain of desired signals and reduce the gain of the undesired signals. A confirmation recipe would be tested to see if the changes it lived up to the predictions of the signal to noise optimizations. Project like this are required to have the guidance of a Certified Master Black Belt.
My questions are is what type of testing would be done to see how Carlisle recipe changes performed. Carlisle has advertised lower temperature and increased strength.
