RE Max speed on Carlisle tires.
After communicating with a more knowledgeable person at Carlisle they have responded with an update to their FAQ web page last night.
Item 7 on THISTHIS page should answer any questions on the max speed for Carlisle tires.
Carlisle is to be commended for taking appropriate action. Much faster than I would expect from most tire manufacturers or importers.
Again double speak from Carlisle. That statement has always been on their web site and I quoted it earlier in this thread. Then they tell people that their Radial Trail RH can be used at the allowed speed limit. The question becomes are there states that allow towing a RV trailer faster than 65MPH. Look at this reference!
http://www.truckercountry.com/speed-limits.html It mirrors what I have seen on road signs in Western States and I have never seen a separate sign for RV's. California does allow two axle trucks to follow the car speed limits, which is crazy with small/short box trucks which are not that stable running with the cars at 70+MPH. Chris
