Go back and look at my post that has started this. It says Regulations/Standards. The regulations for tire fitment on new RV trailers are directed at the trailer manufacturer. Thereafter industry standards are the guide.
The most prominent industry standard is standardized. Replacement tires MUST be equal or greater load capacity when compared to the original equipment tires depicted on the vehicle's certification label. That is a self imposed standard. If you don't want to follow it so be it. It's like a speed trap. Maybe in the end you will pay and maybe not. The point is you are subject to the pay line.
When I post references to tire industry standards you brush them off with some sly comments. That doesn't make them go away. All the major tire manufacturers follow the TRA standards. They cant force their retailers to follow the standards 100% of the time but they sure can drop them from their list of retailers and quit supplying them with their product.
