We recently returned from a 4k trip and had a great time. On the way home, we had a flat tire so I stopped to get it repaired. Turned out the wheel had begun to leak. I checked a 2nd tire and it was low and we found the same problem. Two out of 5 wheels leaking tells me it is time to make some changes.
The sticker on our camper says I need wheels rated for 3000 lbs. and I have found some American Racer AW23 that have the same rating. My question is, is 3000 lb. really enough or am I missing something.
My tires are fine, but the wheels have to go.
Thanks for your help and best wishes.
There's really not enough information there to answer your post, but if you're needing wheels, talk to Scott at Trailer Tires & Wheels. This company has a wide selection of trailer wheels and tires at excellent prices and provide top-notch service. I used them when we upgraded to 17.5" tires and wheels on our previous Mobile Suites 5th wheel and can highly recommend them. Scott will know what upgrades in wheel weight ratings are possible that will fit your existing hubs and lug pattern.
