Met a couple in a campground that had a 5th wheel similar to ours. Their bedroom emergency exit window does not have a screen and ours does. We checked the difference and I found that our window emergency opening lever is on the bottom of the window frame and the window can be propped open without interfering with screen. The other's window and screen have levers on both sides that are mounted in the window frame where the screen would live.
You may be able to make a screen and mount it on the inside of the frame but that would entail removing the screen and replacing it whenever you wanted to open and close the windows.
