Needing to transport golf cart

I currently have a fifth wheel camper which I pull a with a 3/4 ton truck and I am needing to get a golf cart for my DW. The problem is where do I put it.

I cannot afford to buy a new/used toy hauler because I would probably have to buy a new/used dulley to go with it.

Towing a double is possible as long as I stay in TN

Has anyone fabricated some way to attach to the back of camper.
  • Why not a scooter type mobility device for on the road?
There are some mighty nice foldable ones out there.

  • Some 5th wheels come with a mini garage in the back that are just large enough for a golf cart or motorcycle. Look at the Alpine 3900RE for an example.

This is what you need... It is called the IDAHO TOTE...

This is NOT considered a trailer in most states but an attachment to your trailer. It does not use a standard trailer hitch but is physically attached to your the rear of your fifth wheel trailer.

Check with your registered state on using this unit.

Of course this will need to be professionally mounted to your trailer frame using frame extensions etc... Your trailer bumper will not support this unit at all...

  • LRG, we tow a 34' toy hauler within weight limits with our 3/4 ton Dodge. We travel with our cart. So easy. You won't need a 1 ton. You would want to have your cart inside also.
  • I think you need a trailer type platform that attaches to the rear hitch that either has one or two wheels that swivel in the rear of the platform. can even back it up. I do not think this is considered double towing. not cheap but will do what you need.
