Hmmmm, the consensus I was afraid I was going to get.
Oh well, I guess having a couple of spares complete in the drum beats getting stranded out in the middle of nowhere.
I am not in the habit of long time high speed travel. I am in the habit of giving a walkaround lugnut touch for excessive temp most times when we stop for potty break so it is not likely that I will be caught by surprise.
It is going to be an expensive spring refit this year. Getting 4 replacement brake plate units too plus new tires. Still, it is dirt cheap compared to my boating days.
