I am thinking about buying a 2017 3500 dodge ram. What do I need to do to transfer my hatch over to that truck.

Hi... I bought a new 2016 Ram 2500 diesel in March . I had the dealer install a new Curt 5th wheel hitch.. The hitch was part of the deal. The hitch is sold under the Mopar name.. The truck bed had set up for 5th wheel hitch. All work well to date.... I like the factory installed exhaust brake and the 6 speed trans.
