SOME states were hitting people up for sales tax, even though they had already paid in the state where they bought the FW. There was a recent article where IN is considering legislation (seems like it will pass) so that people can take delivery of a new RV =in= IN without having to worry about the possible double-taxation when they take it home.
When I bought my FW in Indiana about 3 years ago, I followed as their service manager pulled it into Illinois where I took delivery. If I had picked it up in Indiana I would have to pay sales tax their and NC.
No recipriocity(sp) between these 2 states then.
