No silly color coding no binding when un even just simple solid NO question if you are hitched system. Look at the 1" thick machined jaws, if it looks like pic below and handle is closed and pinned/locked it's hitched no question.
Oh if it matters B&W is 100 percent US Made. REESE/CURT not so much, Made in China.
This looks like it would work well with Rambox due to the handle dimension/angle...
