Chucking is a common complaint - especially for new fifth wheel owners. Your truck will scale at about 7,800 - 7,900 lbs. with full fuel and two occupants. A little over 3,000 of that will be on the rear wheels, leaving you 3,000 - 3,100 lbs of rear axle capacity (not to be confused with GVWR for the whole truck). If you don't know the actual LOADED weight of your fifth wheel, use 23% of the trailer's GVWR - in your case about 2,750 lbs. loaded pin weight. Assuming your rear truck tires are inflated to max (80 PSI for load range E), you should be OK. We solved what you're describing on our '13 Sierra by installing a dampened pin-box on the trailer (Demco Glide Ride) and Bilstein 4600 shocks on all four corners of the truck.
