I imagine you need a way to absorb the chucking motion.
I used to have a B&W Patriot but have switched to the Andersen. Mines rail,mounted. There's absolutely no difference in the way it tows my 5er compared to the B&W. Only difference is it's about 100lbs + lighter. I'm also using the same MoRyde pin box thatI used with the B&W. I still have the same "once in a while chucking" with both.
