To answer a few questions: I had someone watch the entire hitch set up when this chucking occurs and there does not appear to be any looseness or movement anywhere in the attachment of the trailer to the truck. I don't think there is any play anywhere. Tomorrow we're going to dump the FW tank, throw some weight in the basement storage and give it a test drive. If it's a lot better, I'll be happy but will still probably go with a airbag pin box. Everyone that has one is very pleased with it. For now, I'm hoping that I don't have to start working on the suspension of the truck.
Dayle1 - you asked what kind of equalizer that Jayco uses...I'm not sure I understand what you are referring to. If you mean the trailer suspension, they use MOR/ryde CRE/3000 rubberized suspension.
