Hey Y'all,
Ive got a 2011 Lariat King Ranch F350 4x4 SWR with a 6.7 Turbo Diesel. I am looking to tow a 5th wheel RV trailer with it. My question is in order to improve the overall tow of the 5th wheel is it best to replace the factory suspension with air suspension or should I look at replacing the factory shock absorbers with something better or should I do both?
Overall, my goal is to make sure expected bumps in the road do not cause issues with the trailer or my truck.
Let me know.
Well what size 5er are you looking at? Your 2011 F350 SRW only has a GVWR of 11,500# giving you at most about 3,200# of payload. That isn’t pin weight it is total the truck can carry. So likely may have room for a 2,700# pin
