New 5th Wheel to live in for 9 months in IL

I'm about 100 miles NW of Mt Carmel, IL. The last few years they have been getting hit with worst winters than we have. More snow and more ice. There have been numerous times that area has been socked in with bad weather and we didn't get anything. Below zero temps are common and should be expected. At the best expect days and weeks on end where it never gets above the teens during the day in Dec thru Feb.
Mt Carmel isn't that big and definitely isn't a high dollar area. A guy should be able to find a house to rent fairly cheap in that area. Sure not going to be paying Chicago rent prices.
