new at towing RV 5th wheel

Hello,
All my trailers are connected by gooseneck, except for this RV trailer. Pulling a fifth-wheel seems different from pulling a gooseneck trailer. I am having troubles with the trailer wanting to "Buck" or as my wife says "rock and roll" going down the highway. The trailer is a Heartland Gateway 41 foot, if anyone has suggestions on how to stop the Bucking I am all ears.

    How will that effect the chucking?

    If there is too much weight at the back it will make front too light and that will cause chucking I think they call it.

    Hitch is set too far back. The center of hitch should be approximately 2"-4" ahead of axle.

    Hard to tell from the picture but that looks like quite a bit of squat for a DRW. Shocks, springs, rear suspension all in good shape? How old is the truck?

    Here is the OPs pic. I don't see any issue from looking at pic. It seems his hitch pin is over axle, and FW towing level.

    What is the tow vehicle? Have you weighed the trailer and know how much pin weight you have?

    Click on Forum Help and Support and do a search for "posting pictures"
    You'll see several sets of instructions.
    I opened the picture in your question. It is hard to tell for sure, but it looks like your hitch is too far back. Ideally the weight of the hitch should be centered over the truck's axle. That might be part of the problem.
