AGM is not a brand. It is a battery technology. Developed for the aviation industry, AGMs are sealed. They do not gas. They do not leak. They can be mounted anywhere. They can be mounted any way. Upside down if you like. They are used extensively in marine applications where there is a hazard from flamable heavier than air battery gases settliing in bilges.
Not so popular in the RV industry. They are expensive, though they last 2-3 times longer than a wet cell. They can be found in some upmarket units for owners less likely to want to deal with routine battery waterings.
