New Carriage????

That's okay. Carriage by Redwood is not a Carriage. Folks who bought a Carriage did so because everything was in-house, including the frame. Check our Lifestyle RV. They are making the closest 5er to a Carriage you can get.

Where they Rushmore's by chance or one of the other lines they make? The Rushmore line has had more than their share of issues. I know of at least one that was replaced because the landing gear collapsed and bent the frame. It was installed wrong at the factory.

Crossroads has no quality control. NONE. I have two customers in the same campground that had to return their units to the factory for new replacements, they were made the same month

From what I have seen and heard about the Lifestyle it looks as good as the old Carriage units.......

Not exactly, they can bring Carriage back but it will have to be a new company to do it such as Redwood/Crossroads. It will have to be all new floor plans and pretty much everything else so as to not copy the old Carriage which is now Lifestyle. I think the project manager for the Carriage rebirth is on the hot seat now since Emahiser is gone. We shall see how things play out. They removed Carriage from the Redwood web site and added the Rushmore line that was made under Crossroads. That line has been plagued with quality issues for a while now. Who knows what they are up to.

What I found on the CrossRoads RV forum

The theory of Thor bringing back and manufacturing the Carriage can be laid to rest. It ain't going to happen. Thor bought the name "only". A bunch of the old employs bought the rest, and they are now manufacturing their own new unit. Called "Lifestyle"

Maybe they can't afford the cost, of all the warrenty repairs that might be needed on another line.

As far as I know they were having issues bringing it to production and have put it on indefinate hold.
