PMSPKS - It is nice to see another Bay Hill owner. It is kind of hard to make the leap when there is very little information out there from other owners. Have fun with yours! As far as the truck is concerned, if we need a bigger truck, we will certainly do so. In the meantime, we watch the Banks IQ like a hawk, which tells us the engine temperature, the transmission temperature,the gears, how hard our truck is working, etc. So far, going up a steep mountain pass, we have done pretty good. Going down the other side, the Banks speed brake keeps us at 43 mph and does a great job.

12,200 plus 1500 equals 13,700= 2740 on the pin. I am not a big weight police person but that would be a bit much for my comfort but I am not criticizing...plus add a 250 lb hitch. I just like to make sure the axle and tire limits are not pushed.

12,200 dry, add 1500lbs for gear and stuff. 13,200lbs loaded. 2640lbs on pin. Doable. Better than the guy I saw pull into Diamond Lake CG with a late model F250 FX4 short bed and an Open Range 427BHS. Dry weight 12850lbs. Dry pin 2305lbs and OAL 41'9". I'd push my Ram 2500 a bit but not like the F250 guy.
Both are really nice units though.

Good to see another 340RK owner on here. We picked up our new Bay Hill 340RK on July 16th. We also had a thorough PDI from Topper's in Waller, Texas. Good people and good service. This is our 2nd from them. Our PDI had just a few items that needed to be corrected. Loaded up and headed out on Thursday, but developed a leaking water supply line to the shower with no access to fix. Has to go back in to get that fixed, along with a few other minor items next week. I feel, and hopefully others do as well, that the perfect trailer hasn't been built. If we understand that there are going to be some issues, some minor and hopefully no major, it takes the edge off, at least for us. Not to say there can't be some real bad ones, we know someone who had one that they had to fix something every time out, for years! We love our 340RK because of the unique floorplan and "homey" feel. We look forward to many more great outings.

OP, congrats on your new rig! Made by Evergreen, a "green" company. They have been around at least since 2010. Company is very customer friendly and have helped us out several times. We enjoy our Evergreen(in signature). Wondering if yours is composite. That was a big draw for us. Really like the entry to bdrm and the slideout storage next to fridge! Have fun!
