Ok so I need as much help that you fine gentlemen can offer. Both my TV and 5ver are new. I just bought a gas Ford F250 6.2L short bed With a 3.73 gear ratio. I'm pulling a 35foot Keystone Hideout 308bhds. I am active duty army and My wife and I are going to be full timing here on base at Fort Lewis. We have 1 daughter and a German Shepherd. What should I know about EVERYTHING! READY, go!

Read the FAQs. Do some searches for things you don't know such as black tank, water heater, mice,, winterizing, washing, waxing, backing up, proper camping guidelines, Walmart parking, fans, leveling, etc.

My 6.2 has no problem pulling similar weight. I tow around 62 mph in 5th gear, could tow in 6th if flat, and no wind. I average 9 mpg, which I feel is good.

My door sticker is 3,232 for payload, no need to worry about full water tank, or loading all I need.

Your truck will work fine.

I recommend not having any water in the tanks, it's a lot of weight for a 3/4 ton

Thanks Jerry will do.

Also it does have the 14/28 day time schedule. I don't mind moving if it keeps me on post. And I've been doing alot of reading. Everywhere actually.

Right now my concern is weight and the pulling power of my gasser. Also, I have heard about cabin fever for full timers. What can I do to avoid that? What can I do to better my mpg?
