New full time problem

Hello all.
We are full time in our 2011 Dutchmen Colorado 5th wheel and we are experiencing a new problem. the RV has a Atwood Protector LP Gas Detector Series 2001, the light is flashing red and yellow, and I have unpluged the gas and removed from RV. I have checked the battery all is good. We are pluged into shore power here at the park and everything else works good. I did push the test button and alarm did sound 3 times checked the fuse box, all is good unpluged the RV and battery held up well. Am I due for a new unit or am I missing something?

Thanks for your help
  • I have also had LP and CO detectors go bad after only 2-3 years. Not a huge cost, so I would just replace it. In our Colorado the CO detector died year 3.

  • Those go bad really easy. Might need a new one they sell them at camping world. I would try that next for sure. I've had to replace a few in different rv's i've owned. Should fix the problem right away if not return it.
