New FW Question

My brand new FW has putty coming out of the trim on the front is this from the flex or do I have a problem? It is going to the shop tomorrow for some warranty work so is this something to add to the list?
  • There is a post on the FR forum about caulk coming out because severe pinbox flexing, I think from a primetime product.
  • It's probably good to see putty ooze. It means that they did a pretty good job of sealing the seams. It's easy to just remove the excess as it shows up..

I'd rather see putty oozing out than not. I would be worried if I didn't seen any.
  • Gray colored? No problem. The factory uses butyl putty tape st all seams. It tends to ooze out when it gets hot. Plastic putty knife and some patience cleanly removes the excess until the next time. I usually work on mine a couple times a year.
