Anymore its probably hard to buy a bad hitch , Reese, BW, Superglide all make good solid static applications, however no matter how heavy your trailer is ,there is no substitute for an air ride hitch. Yes they cost more initially but the benefit to your trailers structural integrity , the contents of the trailer, and to your tow vehicle, not to mention you and your passengers make the extra cost worth every penny . I won't get into a brand war , but there are two that are very popular brands that are equally good, Hensley, and Air Safe . Either one will serve you well and it will be the last hitch you will ever have to buy .
People on this site seem to bicker over many things , however if you do a search on air ride hitch you will find very little if any argument about there benefits. Good luck and congratulations on the new truck.
